Imagine the satisfaction of completing your thin stone veneer installation, and then…unveiling sparkling clean stone! That’s the magic of Step 5 in our Thin Stone Veneer Installation Series. In this video, David Croteau, co-founder of Stoneyard, walks you through the simple process of cleaning your new stone veneer, leaving it looking its absolute best.
Key Steps to Cleaning the Stone
- Safety First! Always wear gloves, eye protection, and long sleeves when handling acidic cleaners. Ensure proper ventilation in the workspace.
- Wet the Surface: Thoroughly saturate the stone veneer with clean water. This helps prevent the acidic cleaner from absorbing too deeply.
- Apply the Cleaner: Using your long-handled acid brush, apply Prosoco Sure Klean Vana Trol following the manufacturer’s instructions.
