Imagine the satisfaction of completing your thin stone veneer installation, and then…unveiling sparkling clean stone! That’s the magic of Step 5 in our Thin Stone Veneer Installation Series. In this video, David Croteau, co-founder of Stoneyard, walks you through the simple process of cleaning your new stone veneer, leaving it looking its absolute best.

Key Steps to Cleaning the Stone

  1. Safety First! Always wear gloves, eye protection, and long sleeves when handling acidic cleaners. Ensure proper ventilation in the workspace.
  2. Wet the Surface: Thoroughly saturate the stone veneer with clean water. This helps prevent the acidic cleaner from absorbing too deeply.
  3. Apply the Cleaner: Using your long-handled acid brush, apply Prosoco Sure Klean Vana Trol following the manufacturer’s instructions.
