J. P. Carrara & Sons, Inc. is a third generation family owned and operated company that produces sand and stone aggregates, ready-mixed concrete, precast/pre-stressed concrete products, and has recently added construction and masonry products. J. P. Carrara & Sons, Inc. was founded in the early 1940s, when an Italian immigrant named Joseph P. Carrara Sr. purchased an old concrete mixer truck to supplement his barn building business.
