Applications: Wine CellarsLocation: California

This California-based wine cellar draws inspiration from the historic wine caves of France and Italy. The wine cellar’s warm, earthy stone walls, vaulted ceiling, and arched doorways create a timeless, cave-like ambiance.. This beautiful project was brought to life by Jim Tilley alongside a team of talented sub-contractors. The final result is a testament to the power of natural stone to evoke a sense of history and elegance.

The owner of the wine cellar selected a mix of Boston Blend Ledgestone and Square and Rectangular thin stone veneer to achieve the textured look of the walls and ceilings. The mix of the two stone shapes creates a unique blend of old world charm and modern luxury.

Lighting lends a hand in highlighting the beauty of the stonework and wine collection. A combination of recessed lighting and rustic lighting fixtures illuminate the stone walls and the wine racks. The dim and warm light create a warm atmosphere, inviting guests to selected their choice bottle of wine.

This California wine cellar is a stunning example of how natural stone can be used to create a truly unique and inspiring space. By blending traditional European design elements with modern luxury, this project offers a timeless and unforgettable wine-tasting experience.
