Learn the Craft of Stone
Stoneyard co-founder David Croteau will be presenting at the 14th Annual Genest Bootcamp Hardscape Expo on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at The Point Community Center in South Portland, Maine. This year’s expo has been rebranded as the Genest Bootcamp Hardscape Expo to reflect the full scope of the event, combining expert-led contractor training with a robust tradeshow experience—all in one venue, on one day.
David’s presentation, “Learn the Craft of Stone,” will cover the proper methods and procedures for installing natural thin stone veneer to ensure the most efficient and effective results. Attendees will learn best practices, proven installation techniques, and practical insights to help deliver lasting beauty and performance on every project. Whether you’re newer to stone installation or a seasoned pro looking to sharpen your skills, this session is designed to help you work smarter and more efficiently.
The 2026 expo features a new format with educational sessions and live demos running in short 30-minute blocks throughout the day within the vendor fair—meaning continuous foot traffic and more interaction time for everyone. A snow date of Wednesday, February 4th has also been built in for the first time to protect plans and ensure strong attendance.
