Building Veneer

Building Veneer stone is 3–5 inches thick for all shapes except Round, which is 3–4 inches thick. A 6-inch masonry foundation shelf is required for all applications to support the weight of the stone. A moisture control cavity weep system should be installed behind the stone to ensure long-term durability. Coverage averages 35 square feet per ton (43 SF/ton for Round). Please see our full specifications and our architectural 3-Part Spec for Building Veneer. Note: A weight-bearing foundation is required. Want the same timeless look with less weight and easier installation? Explore our Thin Stone Veneer collection — the same authentic stone, precision-cut to install anywhere.
