Heritage Buff Rustic Ashlar
Heritage Buff Rustic Ashlar is a ashlar style quartzitic sandstone thin veneer. Stones in shades of pale buff to golden brown have textured, split faces. Typically installed with a mortar joint, it can also be dry-stacked with additional cutting and fitting.
Description
Heritage Buff Rustic Ashlar Thin Veneer combines the order of ractangular stone with the rich, rugged texture of natural sandstone. The stones have natural edges and split faces in a mix of heights and lengths. Its palette moves from pale ivory and buff through toasted honey to deep golden brown, with the occasional rust-veined or plum-toned stone adding character up close. Because it’s natural stone, color and texture will vary from one installation to the next.
Common applications include:
– Exterior siding and accent walls
– Wainscoting and foundation wraps
– Interior feature walls and fireplaces
– Gate piers, columns, and entryways
– Kitchen islands and bar fronts
Heritage Buff Rustic Ashlar is usually set with a mortar joint but can be dry-stacked with additional cutting and fitting. As a thin veneer, it installs over most substrates without the structural requirements of full-bed stone, making it practical for both new construction and renovation.
