Bank of Rhode Island adds Greenwich Gray to its new Cranston Branch

Applications: Columns and Arches, Commercial, Foundations, SidingLocation: Massachusetts

The Bank of Rhode Island announced the successful completion of its newest branch at its new location, 1340 Oaklawn Avenue, Cranston, Rhode Island. This project showcases the use of Stoneyard Greenwich Gray Natural Stone Veneer.

The attractive installation of Stoneyard Greenwich Gray Ledgestone Natural Stone Veneer by West End Construction Inc. as part of the building project contributes to creating a distinctive, welcoming presence for this new bank branch.

This stone dressing was meticulously applied to cover the building’s foundation, providing a sturdy, visually appealing base that evokes a sense of solidity and trustworthiness – key attributes for any banking institution. Stoneyard Greenwich Gray’s striking grey hue and natural light/dark variations in tone lend an air of elegance and sophistication to the building while ensuring that it retains a grounded, organic feel.

The exterior walls of the bank were also clad in this material, creating a cohesive, eye-catching façade. The stacked stone patterns of the Greenwich Gray Ledgestone give the exterior walls an appealing ruggedness.

A particularly striking aspect of the construction project was the inclusion of the Greenwich Gray Ledgestone around the building’s windows. This thoughtful design choice adds depth and dimension to the structure, creating a pleasing contrast between the smooth glass surfaces and the natural stone veneer.
