Wellesley Country Club, in Wellesley, MA, is a family-oriented club whose members enjoy a wide variety of recreational and social opportunities. Founded in 1910, the club combines the best of both one hundred years of tradition and modern country club life.
Working with JS Masonry of Framingham, MA for the stone veneer selection and installation, Wellesley Country Club has completed their new Racket Center. The brand new facility includes four tennis / pickleball courts, ladies’ and men’s locker rooms, two golf simulators and a viewing lounge area.
As you can see from the video and photos, Boston Blend Mosaic envelops the entire exposed foundation. The intentional design element – using all natural stone sourced from New England – reflects the club’s one hundred years of tradition, yet is installed in the most modern way available: natural stone cut to 1″ thickness, adhered to the foundation. This method allowed JS Masonry to perfect the layout of the mosaic stones, trimming stones to keep the joints consistent across the project surface.
The Boston Blend Mosaic product from Stoneyard includes 90 degree corners to complete the “full stone” look.
